Different from other products, the EFT/burst generator is specially designed according to the characteristics and requirements of electrical and electronic products for electrical fast transient (EFT)/burst test. It is of good reliability, stable performance and easy to use. What is the right operation when we use it? We will talk about it today.
First, before using the EFT/burst generator, make sure that the FG terminal on back of the generator is reliably connected to the ground reference plate. Wiring/Connection before the test shall be done when the EFT/burst generator is not working. The test configuration and wiring should be carried out as per IEC/EN 61000-4-4 standard. Check the wiring, ensure that it is correct, then power on the device and turn it on.
If user needs to adjust parameters (test voltage, polarity, etc.) during the EFT/burst generator test, please click "STOP" on LCD screen to stop the test, and then adjust it. For disassemble/wiring and other operations during test, please click "STOP" to stop the test, and then proceed with the operation.
