Overview

ISO 7637-2 is a frequently encountered standard designed to evaluate automotive components' ability to withstand electrical transients. ISO 7637 pulse generator RV P1P2a can meet the requirements of standard ISO 7637-2, GB/T 21437.
ISO 7637-2 Transient Test Pulse 1 is a simulation of transients due to supply disconnection from inductive loads. It applies to modules that are directly parallel to an inductive load in a vehicle. The P1 pulse has relatively high source impedance, elevated voltage levels, a fast-leading edge, and a relatively wide duration.
ISO 7637-2 Transient Test Pulse 2a simulates transients due to sudden interruption of currents in a device connected in parallel with the DUT due to the inductance of the wiring harness. P2a is a fast, low-energy positive pulse that behaves similarly to P1 but with opposite polarity.
