ESD simulator, also known as ESD generator, ESD gun, is a device that generates/simulates the ESD pulses. It is used to test the immunity of devices to electrostatic discharge (ESD) as per international IEC/EN 61000-4-2, ISO 10605 and other standards.

Application of ESD Simulator
ESD simulators are widely used in various industries, including electronics manufacturing, telecommunication, automotive, medical, new energy, aerospace, and other consumer electronics.
What you should know when use an ESD Simulator?
Do not disassemble the instrument. The internal parts cannot be replaced by the user.
The instrument shall be used in a dry room. If condensate is found, please dry the simulator before using it.
Before using this instrument, please make sure the wiring (connection) is correct.
Proper grounding must be done well to avoid danger while conducting ESD testing. Using appropriate grounding cables, resistors, making sure grounding status of the instrument is good.
When you replace the EUT during testing, please confirm that the instrument has stopped running and the interface is displayed as the parameters setting interface.
When touching instrument color screen, do not use sharp objects or too much force to avoid damage to the screen or reduce its service life.
If the instrument is not used for a long time, it needs to be regularly dusted and powered to ensure normal work of the device.
The instrument shall be regularly sent to relevant metrology institute for inspection and calibration.
