Pulse 4 simulates the voltage drop on the supply when the starter motor circuit is energized, excluding starter-related spikes.

Overview

Transient pulse generator RV P2bP4 is an interference simulator used to simulate the various battery supply waveforms recommended by international standards and car manufacturer requirements.
Pulse 2b simulates transients from DC motors acting as generators after the ignition is switched off. Pulse 4 simulates supply voltage reduction caused by energizing the starter-motor circuits of internal combustion engines, excluding spikes associated with starting.
