1) Discharge electrode

There are two discharge electrodes. One is conical and the other is spherical. The former is used for contact discharge test, and the latter is used for air gap discharge test. According to different test requirements, users can replace and use them by themselves. Note that the cone electrode must not be hit and dropped to avoid damage.

(2) Ground terminal of discharge gun

(3) Trigger of discharge gun

The operation of the trigger of the discharge gun is related to the trigger mode. For a single trigger (SINGLE), it is necessary to pull the trigger once and discharge the power once. For the two trigger modes of COUNT and 20pps, as long as the trigger is pulled, the discharge will continue, and the trigger in the self-triggering mode of the host has no effect. For COUNT, the discharge rate of the self-trigger mode of the host is set by the interval time of the operation panel (INTERVAL). For the 20pps mode, the discharge rate is fixed at 20 times per second.

(4) High-voltage composite cable

Used to connect the output voltage of the DC high voltage power supply to the discharge gun. The control line of the discharge gun is also compounded in this cable.

(5) High voltage plug

It is used to connect the host and the discharge gun. The high-voltage plug should be inserted before turning on the machine, otherwise the high-voltage power supply cannot be turned on. When inserting a high-voltage plug, carefully align the pin holes and glands on the plug. Insert the pin in the socket, and then gently push the plug in, and then tighten the plug gland. Do not insert hard to avoid damaging the pins. Do not push or pull the high-voltage cable forcefully, and you should hold the gland for plugging and unplugging operations.

(6) Grounding clamp

It is convenient to clamp the reference grounding plate or the grounding terminal of the test product.

(7) Grounding wire

It is used to connect the discharge gun to the grounding terminal of the reference grounding plate or the test product to form a discharge loop.

(8) Install the discharge gun

Used to install the discharge gun on the discharge gun holder (optional).

(9) RC kit cover

Unscrew the RC kit cover for easy replacement of the RC kit. Note: After installing the RC kit, tighten the RC kit cover.

(10) Indicator light

When the light turns green, it means that the high-voltage plug is connected. If the light is off, it means that the high-voltage plug is not plugged in properly. Turn off the machine and plug the high-voltage plug again. Each flashing red at the moment of discharge indicates that a discharge has been completed.
