Impulse current generator SUR 6kA is mainly used for the surge test of arrester resistors, varistor, discharge tubes, SPDs, TVS and other surge protection devices. Current surge pulse 8/20μs are applied to test such components. The technical specifications of the waveform conform to the requirements of national and IEC standard.
